Our most celebrated arm of Riceworks Corporation is Rice Philanthropy.
This is where we get to thoroughly enjoy and support our community through initiatives and activities for causes we care about.
Our Goals
At Riceworks, we feel that community is everything. We recognize that when you include all people in your experiences, your growth, your success.. everybody wins. One of our pillars of business is the importance of sharing our resources with those in need by giving back, in many different ways.
We have 3 pillars of help that we feel passionate about, health, community, and the ocean (sustainability).
Our hope + goals are to make an impact at the grandest scale we can, to help as many people / animals we can.

Health
Where in the world would we be without our health? Ensuring a good health care system - along with equipment and funding that is needed - ensures a thriving future for us all. Our focus has been on hospitals across Ontario, and Sick Kids.

Community
When we look around and see those that are in need - we simply need to help. In recent year our aid has been geared towards human trafficking with Free Them and the Covenant House, and the battered women's shelter Good Shepherd.

The Ocean + Sustainability
Our earth and animal species need our help more than ever. With Lindsay's passion for the ocean, our focuses here have been on whale and manta ray conservation with Marine Megafauna and Manta Trust.
